About Ruth Wang
Ruth is committed to helping international clients, primarily Asian clients, with their commercial and personal legal issues in Australia.
Using her in-depth knowledge of migration laws and policies, Ruth provides prompt and accurate advice to international clients on a range of migration matters. She also helps international clients with their commercial and personal legal issues in Australia. These issues include family law, foreign investment and litigation matters.
Ruth is fluent in Mandarin and understands Cantonese.
About Emma Kime
With more than 5 years’ experience, Emma assists clients with all aspects of their banking, financial, project and property matters. Emma has advised on traditional banking, helped clients manage company matters, and assisted on property transactions, management and letting rights.
With a background in agribusiness law, Emma has assisted clients with solar and wind farm transactions, water transactions, as well as vegetation and general agribusiness issues.
A Nationally Accredited Mediator, Emma helps clients determine core issues and reach commercially viable solutions.
About Pravneel Chaudhary
Pravneel advises clients on all aspects of commercial litigation and insolvency, with a particular focus on construction-sector clients. Working with individuals, SMEs and large corporates, he provides tailored advice to help Thynne + Macartney’s clients achieve their best possible outcome.
Pravneel understands that time, costs and the stress of litigation can be a distraction from a client’s core business. Where possible, he utilises alternative dispute resolution (ADR) to help clients achieve solutions in a time and cost-effective manner. When things escalate, Pravneel represents clients in all State jurisdictions and in the Federal Court.
Regularly working with insolvency practitioners and clients facing their own cashflow challenges, Pravneel has advised on voidable transactions, insolvent trading and deeds of company arrangement pursuant to the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), as well as personal insolvencies and restructuring under the Bankruptcy Act 1966 (Cth).
