Over 25 staff from Thynne + Macartney participated in Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation's (GMRF) Run, Walk or Wheel for Remembrance event on Friday 6 November.
This year, a ‘virtual’ event took place where individual participants or small groups hosted their own charity runs in remembrance for all the brave men and women who served our country and to support innovative medical research saving lives.
Thynne + Macartney’s staff walked or ran 5km or 10km from our offices at Riverside Centre around Brisbane City, the Botanical Gardens, South Bank and Kangaroo Point.
Thank you to all staff, friends and family who donated to the cause and for helping us reach our target of $500. The total funds raised have now reached over $15,000.
Since 2016, Thynne + Macartney has been a proud Discovery Partner of the GMRF and have contributed over $100,000 to facilitate innovative and life-changing medical research to prevent, cure or lessen the impact of diseases, such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and liver cancer, that affect the veteran and broader Australian community.
