Our continued commitment to our staff has seen us selected as a finalist for the QLS Workplace Culture and Health Award this year, an award we are excited to be nominated for.
The selection adds to our continual recognition for the internal practices and programs that put the wellbeing of our team at the forefront of our company culture.
The driving initiative for this award is the Employee Wellness Program, initiated by senior management to support and empower staff to learn, develop and achieve their personal or professional goals while caring for their health and wellbeing.
Our year long program consists of a series of events developed both in-house and externally, including Health + Wellbeing Month, R U OK? Day, Mental Health Week and Movember. Throughout these programs, we encourage staff to take time out of their day to mentally refresh.
Alongside these programs we also continue the tradition of recognising exceptional work and service delivered by our staff through the Bill Loughnan Award for Outstanding Client Service in memory of our former Chairman of Partners who passed away in October 2019.
“The wellbeing of our staff is reflected in the quality of their work and the success of their relationships with our clients and each other,” said Chairman of Partners Marc Maskell, “We are passionate about our staff enjoying their time at Thynne + Macartney, and the positive impact of this can be seen throughout the significant number of partners and staff who have remained at Thynne + Macartney throughout their career.”
