About Peter
Experienced in all aspects of commercial and corporate law, Peter specialises in the acquisition, management and divestment of companies and businesses.
With a special interest in school law, Peter also advises several leading Queensland schools and their governing bodies on a range of issues, including the governance, management and regulation of schools.
He is also a Queensland Law Society (QLS) Accredited Specialist in Business Law, and currently chairs the QLS Specialist Accreditation Board.
Peter has held a variety of governance roles and is:
- currently a director of a not-for-profit organisation;
- a former Chairman of an unlisted public company;
- the immediate past Chairman of Partners at Thynne + Macartney (2017-2021); and
- a former member of Thynne + Macartney’s Executive Board (2014-2021).
