Ashley Lamb is recognised as ALPMA’s General Manager of the Year

Thynne + Macartney’s Ashley Lamb has won the Award for General Manager of the Year at the 2022 ALPMA Awards, for his outstanding leadership and initiatives implemented over the past 12-months.

Now in his 10^th year in the role, Ashley has been responsible for leading the firm through a strong period of growth in the Queensland legal market, despite numerous challenges over the past decade.

This award also acknowledges the emphasis Ashley has put on the wellbeing and development of all staff, resulting in lengthy employment and partnership tenures, and staff feedback that the firm has their best interests at heart.

Ashley has advocated flexible working policies, instituted employee wellness programs and has supported community initiatives including contributing to the Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation.

With Thynne + Macartney preparing for its 130^th anniversary, Ashley is working on a number of new initiatives that will benefit staff and continue Thynne + Macartney’s long-standing history as one of Queensland’s leading and oldest law firms.
