Thynne + Macartney elevates three lawyers

Congratulations to the following lawyers on their promotions:

• Vicky Martin to Special Counsel, Wills + Estates
• Lewis Radford to Associate, Planning + Environment
• Conor Harvey to Associate, Disputes + Insolvency

Vicky Martin was promoted to Senior Associate in the Wills + Estates group in 2022 after joining Thynne + Macartney as an Associate in 2020. Her 30+ year career in the legal industry includes various legal and non-legal roles. For the last 19 years, she has worked exclusively in the wills and estates practice area. Vicky has had a significant impact on her colleagues and clients during her time at Thynne + Macartney, and was the 2023 recipient of the Bill Loughnan award for outstanding client service. This award recognises a member of Thynne + Macartney who best embodies the firm’s values and commitment to outstanding client service both internally and externally.

Lewis Radford joined Thynne + Macartney’s Planning + Environment team as a Law Clerk in 2021 before his admission and promotion to Lawyer in 2022. Lewis has worked with partner Tim Quirk on a number of landmark and high profile decisions including the successful defence of an action to overturn a decision of Brisbane City Council allowing the development of one of Australia’s largest indoor gyms:

Conor Harvey joined the firm as a Lawyer in March 2023 and quickly established himself as a key member of the Disputes + Insolvency team. Since joining the team he has worked with partner Marc Maskell on significant insolvencies and disputes.
