Peter Jolly voted Queensland Law Society President-elect

Thynne + Macartney is extremely proud to support partner Peter Jolly as President-elect of Queensland Law Society’s (QLS’s) 2026 Executive Council.

Peter’s appointment as President is a reflection of his many contributions to the legal profession and leadership experience that includes positions on the QLS Council (currently Vice-President), four years as Thynne + Macartney’s Chairman of Partners and roles on private company boards. As a QLS Accredited Specialist in Business Law and leader of Thynne + Macartney’s Business Advisory group, Peter brings significant corporate governance experience to his role on the QLS Council.

We would also like to congratulate Sarah-Jane MacDonald and Craig Chapman on their appointments as Deputy President and Vice President, respectively, and all Councillors elected to the 2026 Council.
