Aaron Webb commemorates long-standing connection at Society of Notaries Queensland 100 years celebration

2022 commemorates 100 years since the Society of Notaries Queensland was established and with it marks the appointment of our Partner Aaron Webb as a Notary Public.

Thynne + Macartney has had a long-standing connection with the Society of Notaries Queensland, with our previous Notary Public, Margaret MacNamara, retiring from the firm in October 2020.

In his inaugural year as a Notary, Aaron seeks to extend his work in the Queensland community and continue the strong history of Notaries in Queensland alongside Thynne + Macartney’s 129 year history.

The Society of Notaries Queensland will commence celebrations today with an afternoon tea at Government House, hosted by Governor of Queensland Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM.

Tomorrow a symposium will be held at the Treasury Hotel, with a Banco Court event at Brisbane’s QEII Courts of Law complex held that night.

Aaron will be attending these events alongside fellow Notaries where he will be informed of the important areas of notarial practice and recent issues affecting their work.
