About Ryan

Ryan is an Associate in Thynne + Macartney's Property + Commercial group. He advises clients on a range of matters including corporate law, privacy law and trust law, as well as assisting clients during the early stages of disputes. 

With more than five years' experience acting for clients in commercial and property transaction matters, Ryan has developed expertise in contracts, leases, option agreements, share sale agreements and related transaction documents. He works with a diverse range of clients, including national businesses, private developers, landlords, Not-for-Profits (NFP) and small business owners.

His experience includes:

• Advising on a residential development project that consisted of more than 50 residential lots, including the preparation of documents for the entire sale process.
• Assisting a NFP client transition from an overseas registered entity to an Australian incorporated company limited by guarantee. This process included preparing a company constitution to reflect the bespoke requirements of the particular NFP. He has also assisted a NFP on intellectual property and corporate matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws – Queensland University of Technology
• Admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in November 2019
