For six consecutive years, Thynne + Macartney has been recognised as Queensland’s only first-tier Agribusiness firm by Doyle’s Guide.
Congratulations to our partners Peter Kenny, Ari McCamley and Alex Ramsey who continue to be recognised by their clients and peers for their expertise in agribusiness law.
We are particularly proud of Alex Ramsey who has been promoted by the Guide to Leading Lawyer.
The legacy of our Agribusiness group began in 2002 when Bill Loughnan and Peter Kenny, along with their entire team, joined the firm because they felt they could better serve their rural client base at Thynne + Macartney. Fast forward 19 years and the team continues to be Queensland’s leading law firm for all agribusiness matters.
Despite Bill’s passing in October 2019, his legacy at Thynne + Macartney and throughout the rural community remains as strong as ever. Earlier this week, Bill was recognised in the 2021 Queen’s Birthday Honours List and he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for services to agriculture, and to the law.
