Ashleigh is a QLS Accredited Specialist in Succession Law. She leads Thynne + Macartney’s Wills & Estates team as Partner.
With over 13 years’ experience in estate litigation, estate planning and estate administration, Ashleigh helps her clients achieve their objectives in an efficient and cost-effective way. Empathetic to her clients’ individual situations, she provides practical, commercial advice and helps her clients navigate what can often be a very challenging time in their lives.
Ashleigh is regularly approached for appointment as an Independent Administrator for complex or contested estates, or to act as Litigation Guardian to represent the interests of persons who are incapacitated or are under 18 years of age.
Cathy has extensive experience in the areas of estate planning, administration and litigation, and her 30+ years as a lawyer help her prepare for all eventuating circumstances.
When things do not go to plan, Cathy quickly assists clients to make a claim pursuant to family provision applications, as well as defending claims against estates. She also understands the impact unintended consequences can have on individuals and families when the intentions of the deceased are unclear or inadequate.
With over 30 years’ experience working in the legal industry, Vicky brings a large depth of knowledge and a range of skills to the Wills & Estates team.
She works closely with executors and beneficiaries to navigate simple and complex estate administrations and advise trustees on establishing and administering various trusts, including special disability and charitable trusts. Vicky helps clients understand the most appropriate estate plan for their situation and prepare their Wills, Enduring Power of Attorneys, Advance Health Directives, Binding Death Benefit Nominations and all other estate planning needs.
